Why CPR and First Aid Training Matter

Electrical workers face unique hazards on the job. While safety procedures and proper training help prevent accidents, emergencies can still happen. CPR and First Aid certification equips apprentices with the confidence and skills needed to respond until professional medical help arrives.

Participants will learn:

  • Basic First Aid response techniques
  • Adult CPR procedures
  • Recognition of common medical emergencies
  • How to assess emergency situations safely
  • Techniques for providing assistance until emergency responders arrive

These skills are valuable not only in the workplace but also at home, during recreational activities, and within our communities.

Building a Stronger Brotherhood Through Safety

At IBEW Local 106, safety is more than a requirement—it's a responsibility we share. Every member plays a role in looking out for one another. By investing in First Aid and CPR training, we strengthen our ability to respond, protect our fellow members, and uphold the highest standards of our trade.

Safety. Skill. Solidarity.

We look forward to seeing all required apprentices on September 12 as we continue building a safer and stronger Local 106.
